Australia, December 7, 2009 - Darksiders is a hugely anticipated title, and for good reason - we've played through the opening few hours, and it's shaping up to be one hell of a game. Vigil has taken inspiration from a number of genres, from the action of God of War and Devil May Cry, to the overarching structure of Zelda and Castlevania, while putting its own defining stamp on the title. The opening hours are polished and absorbing, with a good balance between exploring the world and kicking ass. In fact, while the combat is a little unwieldy (prepare to use EVERY button on your controller), it's also really versatile and flowing, and evolves at a steady pace as you earn souls and unlock new abilities. I am personaly very excited for this game...it sounds like a real good game...if you would like more on this game follow this link.
November 11, 2009 - It's only been a few weeks since Gearbox's Borderlands was made available, but the first round of downloadable content is almost here. Scheduled to be released on November 24th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game (we're still waiting to hear about the PC release), it's called The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. It'll cost 10 bucks, so it's not exactly cheap, but what do you actually get for your money?
Quite a bit, it seems. This new area is supposed to take anywhere from 6 – 10 hours to complete, and will include around 50 new quests, a range of new enemy types, five new dungeons, and a few added bosses. The gameplay is still the same, so you still run around firing frantically while enemies spawn in and gain experience and items as you make kills, Diablo-style. It's the style of this new area that helps set it apart from the rest of the game...I think this will be an extreamly fun DLC pack...and it will come out for 360 and PS3 first so anyone who got it for PC should get it for both...here is the link for the rest of the information on this DLC pack...I got it from IGN.
October 28, 2009 - The legal battle between Interplay and Bethesda over the Fallout license has taken another turn.
When we last left off, Interplay was granted a ten day extension to respond to the injunction request made by Bethesda and countersued the publisher over alleging the publisher was illegally selling the original Fallout titles.
Bethesda has apparently lost its preliminary injunction over the rights for the Fallout license, according to Fallout fansite No Mutants Allowed, allowing Interplay to continue working on Project V13 (which is believed to be a Fallout MMO). (via Big Download)
Because of these legal developments, members of the development team have begun posting concept art for project, which we posted in the gallery below. IF NMA is corect then I dont agree with Bethesda for giveing it up but I guese it will be ok...in my opinion no one can beat Bethesda with these type of games after all they are the minds behind the Elder Scrolls series. This artical came from IGN there was the link if you missed it.
Today Microsoft has apparently confirmed that this new peripheral is in fact legit (via Joystiq) but as usual, specific details are not forthcoming at this time.
It is expected that the new network device will not replace the existing (and rather overpriced) one but rather offer consumers another choice -- albeit a much faster one. I would have to say that this is only good for one reason with a release of a new router like all other things the original will fall in price probably haph and make it $50 rather then $100. The original is fine but if you want more information on this new one here is a link to the website I got this off of.Speaking to Joystiq, Microsoft has confirmed that there is indeed such an adapter in the works. Unfortunately, the confirmation was accompanied by few actual details. Other than the fact that the adapter will allow gamers to "seamlessly connect with their home network with the highest wireless 'N' technology," we don't know anything about when it will release or, more importantly, how much it will cost.
IGN is in my opinion the best website because I use my internet for about 99% gameing. IGN has everything about upcomeing games that I ususaly want and sometimes even get me interested in a game I had hered about but didnt know much on. This website also has alot of work put into it because almost all of the text is a link to another part of the site which means alot of code. There are also all the images that must be coded into the site. The people who run it are also well ajusted to jornalisam because most of there storys are interviews and they are well thought through and organized. For this reason I believe that IGN is the best website...but then again that is just because of my gameing tendencies it realy has no value to non gamers unless you are a fan of comics, movies,or music...ok fine IGN has something for most people but mostly gamers.
UK, September 28, 2009 - Microsoft's Natal technology won't be compatible with older Xbox 360 titles, and a quick patch to get them working with the device won't be feasible.
That's despite the technology being showcased on older titles; a retooled Burnout Paradise was one of the first games shown utilising Natal, and at this week's Tokyo Games Show both Beautiful Katamari and Space Invaders Extreme were playable with the motion control camera...I am going to have to disagree with this move by Microsoft. I dont know about anyone else but I was realy looking forward to being able to play Oblivian and Fallout 3 with motion sensitive gameplay. If you want more information on this bad call that Microsoft has anounced follow the link that you just past.
August 19, 2009 - There's no getting around the fact that God of War III is going to be a massive game. Kratos, the god-killing warrior with his legendary Blades of Chaos, will undoubtedly turn some heads when he lands on Sony's current-gen console. As the previous two God of War games (and the Chains of Olympus PSP prequel) are cornerstones of the action genre, God of War III has a lot to live up to. Although I was excited to get some hands-on time with Kratos' latest bloody outing, I was disappointed to see that this was the same demo as the demo Roper went hands-on with during this year's E3 show, which in turn sounds like the demo Jeff covered long ago. So nothing I say here will be new...I would have to say that this game will make it even more worth while to get a PS3.This will probably be one of the best games of the 2009 christmas season for more information follow this link...yes the link you just past up because there was more typeing.
UK, September 25, 2009 - The wait for Gears of War 3 could be longer than expected, with Epic Games President Mike Capps saying it will be released on the next generation of consoles – meaning that it could be between four to five years until we see Marcus Fenix and company again.
Capps was addressing an audience at this week's Tokyo Game Show in a Q&A session – attended by Eurogamer - that announced the foundation of a Japanese studio for the US developer...what...we dont want to wate for next generation game consoles; please dont tell me this is true Epic! Well if it is true this had beter not turn into another Duke Nukem where we realy do have to wate FOREVER to get it...if you want more information here it is.

An ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane.
Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.
Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.
I don't like WOW but this is worth it from an MMO standpoint... here is more information.
